Initial Fish Health “Sick” Visit

Our licensed veterinarian and Fish Health team specialize in all things aquatic: general well being, diseases, treatments, surgery, pond ecosystems, and more. Upon arrival, we will meticulously assess the pond, complete a thorough testing of water parameters and an in-depth examination of the ecosystem and filtration.

During the initial assessment, we will conduct a distance examination of the fish to identify any visible health concerns. If necessary, this may be followed by a more detailed examination, involving the careful capture of fish for closer scrutiny. Our priority is to ensure a precise evaluation of their overall health.

Should we identify any treatable pathological processes affecting the fish, practical and beneficial treatment will be initiated promptly. We prioritize the well-being of your aquatic companions and strive to address health issues effectively.

After the initial assessment, we will discuss follow-up appointments and treatments as needed. Our commitment is not only to address immediate health concerns but also to provide ongoing care and support for the long-term well-being of your beloved fish.

What you need to know about an initial sick visit:

• The price starts at $650. If additional services are performed, there will be additional charges.
• The visit typically lasts for 1 ½ hours.
• Our veterinarian will be accompanied by a Fish Health Technician.
• The “Veterinarian-client-patient relationship” (VCPR) will be established, which allows us to complete follow up treatments without a veterinarian being present
