What was your first job?

My first job was working as a counselor at Crim school's after-school program. It was my job to make sure about 200 1st-4th grade kids didn't hurt themselves or each other. It was a challenge to say the least!

What are your favorite kinds of projects to work on?

I am definitely a tinkerer. If you need something to be taken apart and put back together, I'm your guy! At work it's usually plumbing up a filter or fixing one of our machines. One of my favorite projects to do in my spare time is restoring old collectible computers.

What do you like best about the people you work with?

Everyone I work with has their own unique talents. I think we have a great team that can accomplish anything when we put our heads together!

What is the best memory you have at Fitz’s Fish Ponds?

One of the most significant memories I have is when we first moved to garden oaks where our shop currently is. We basically went from running the company from a small shed, to taking over one of the largest pond stores in New Jersey! It was one of the biggest risks we have taken as a company, but it was definitely worth it. Our company trip to Puerto Rico is also a pretty awesome memory, but that's another story!

What is your favorite season and why?

While I love summer, I am not a big fan of hot and humid days. Winter is our slow season, so usually thats when me and some of the other guys will take a snowboarding trip, or go on a vacation somewhere a little warmer! Still, I don't know if I can really pick a favorite.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have two dogs, Dublin and Louise. They are both mutts, which are the best kind of dogs! I am a big lover of all dogs though.

What’s your favorite landscaping style and why?

For me it depends on the location, and what's surrounding the area. I think the best landscaping is when the finished product looks like it was made by mother nature herself, and perfectly blends into the surrounding environment.

If you could be a fish, what kind of fish would you be and why?

Working for a pond company, I feel obliged to say a koi, but I wouldn't want to be stuck in a pond my entire life. I would definitely have to go with being a shark! King of the ocean.

What is your favorite movie or TV show?

Favorite movie is probably Shawshank Redemption... Such a classic. Favorite TV show right now is game of thrones, its pretty much the only TV i ever watch.

What is one thing you can’t live without?

Oxygen :)

If you could choose any era to live in, what would it be?

I'm pretty happy in the current era... I would love to see what the world looks like in another 1000 years, but I probably wouldn't want to live there.

What is your favorite hangout spot?

Whatever bar my friends are at!

What is your favorite childhood memory?

I realize this a weird answer, but one of the happiest days of my life was when I was in 2nd grade and my parents took me to Toys R' Us and bought be a Gameboy and Pokemon blue version. I pretty much played it non-stop for a year.

Describe your dream house!

I don't care so much about the house as I do about the property. Somewhere with a lot of land, but not too far from the city!

What quality about yourself do you value most?

Probably my sense of humor. It's definitely helped me get through a lot in life!
